Scotch Egg
Ingredients
- 1 hard boiled egg
- 3 oz. spicy Italian sausage
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 oz. egg wash
- 2 c. panko bread crumbs
- 1 oz. Italian seasoning
Directions
- Place egg in flour and then surround egg in Italian sausage.
- Roll egg and sausage in flour, and then roll it in egg wash. Roll entire egg in seasoned panko breading to get a nice even coat.
- Store in 4" half pan in refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
- Deep fry egg for 3 minutes.
