Apple Fritters

Ingredients

  • 12 oz all purpose flour
  • 4 oz butter
  • 1 cup milk at room temperature
  • 2 tsp. dry yeast
  • 4 oz sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Green apple
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Glaze for topping

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients except apple.
  2. Add dough to an oiled pan, cover with plastic bags, and punch.
  3. Let it rest for 45 minutes.
  4. Slice green apple.
  5. Press out the dough some and add apple slices & cinnamon to the top of dough.
  6. Fold the dough over and chop the apples into the donut dough.
  7. Form into patties and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  8. Fry at 375°.
  9. Top with a glaze and enjoy!
