Apple Fritters
Ingredients
- 12 oz all purpose flour
- 4 oz butter
- 1 cup milk at room temperature
- 2 tsp. dry yeast
- 4 oz sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Green apple
- Cinnamon to taste
- Glaze for topping
Directions
- Mix all ingredients except apple.
- Add dough to an oiled pan, cover with plastic bags, and punch.
- Let it rest for 45 minutes.
- Slice green apple.
- Press out the dough some and add apple slices & cinnamon to the top of dough.
- Fold the dough over and chop the apples into the donut dough.
- Form into patties and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Fry at 375°.
- Top with a glaze and enjoy!
