Boursin Cheese

Ingredients

  • 10 oz fresh log of goat cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh chives finely cut (if using dry, pre-cut use half the amount)
  • 1/4 bunch parsley, washed and chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 5 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large shallot, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic, powder or granulated
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a stand mixer with a paddle attachment until a homogenous mix forms.
  2. Serve as a spread with toasted bread or vegetables.
