Five Corn Mazes to Visit Near Spokane

The crisp air inspires all things fall as the leaves change and the tree fruit ripens. Some of the things locals seek out during the autumn are pumpkin patches, apple cider, fall festivals, and corn mazes. As you plan the rest of your fall festivities, consider visiting one of these local corn mazes to enjoy the beautiful weather and make some memories along the way!

 

Greenbluff is conveniently located just 15 minutes north of Spokane and is home to several locally owned farms that offer fun, autumn-inspired activities for the whole family! All Greenbluff farms are open for fall festivities on weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Parking at Greenbluff is limited, so attendees are encouraged to reserve parking ahead of time. Siemers Farm

Siemers Farm hosts its annual Fall Harvest Festival through the end of October so locals can enjoy not only a sizable corn/hedge maze that leads to Siemers Castle but also a U-pick pumpkin patch, bouncy castle, treasure hunt, and train rides. After wandering through the corn maze, grab a bite to eat at Castle Pizza and a delicious dessert from a  local vendor, miFlavour. Beck's Harvest House

Beck’s Harvest House at Greenbluff offers an exciting and challenging Giant Corn Maze each year. 2022 marks the 35th year of Beck’s Harvest House and they celebrate with a beautifully designed maze to commemorate their success over the decades. To enjoy the Giant Corn Maze, purchase a Family Farm Funland pass ($12 per pass) and gain access to various other activities Beck’s Harvest House has to offer. Hop on the Cow Train to visit Tire Mountain and the Spider Web! Pick out a gourd from Pumpkin Land and grab a jug of Fresh Pressed Apple Cider to take home to the family! 

 

Walter's Fruit Ranch

Walter’s Fruit Ranch grows various fruits and vegetables that are available for picking throughout the fall ranging from apples to pumpkins to sunflowers. Along with opportunities to harvest your very own basket of fall produce, you and the family can visit the Barnyard Play Area ($5 tickets can be purchased the day of). This includes a maze, super slide, hay bail pyramid, and even a human hamster wheel. Sit down for lunch at the Orchard Cafe and have a tasty drink at the Press Plate Bar after chasing your littles around the Barnyard. Before you head home, make sure to grab a Take N’ Bake pie so your fall festivities don’t have to end when you leave Greenbluff. 

 

Hidden Acres Harvest Tours

If you’re looking for something more structured and educational, Hidden Acres Harvest Tours is perfect for you! Hidden Acres is the only wind-solar-biodiesel-powered farm on Greenbluff, making for a unique and enriching experience for all. Tours include a Hay Ride with Farmer Nick, Bee Talk with Farmer Karene, a tire maze, Penelope the Giant Pumpkin, and a visit to the Frontier Village. Geared towards all ages of learners, this activity offers a wide variety of experiences so everyone can fall in love with fall! Tours are offered to groups of 20 people or more, costing $7/person. Collville Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, and Market

Greenbluff is beautiful, no doubt. However, there are few things that compare to a gorgeous drive through the trees on a cool fall day. If you are looking for a day excursion, visit the Colville Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, and Market, located just an hour and a half from Spokane. Explore the 12-acre corn maze, and U-pick pumpkin patch, and enjoy the variety of Knight Farm’s products to choose from. Open every day of the week; tickets can be purchased at the gate upon arrival costing $6 for children 5-12 and $8 for anyone 13 and above. “Northeast Washington’s premier experience for autumn fun” certainly rings true as it provides not only traditional fall activities but immerses you in the abundance nature has to offer.
