North Yakima Conservation District

We talk with the North Yakima Conservation District and a local rancher, Jack Fields, about how to protect water on rangeland to protect Ahtanum Creek from grazing cattle. In order to do so, a solar-powered well was dug to provide water to the livestock. It's another great example of Washington's farmers and ranchers working together to protect the environment while supporting the agriculture industry.
