Enfield Farms

Enfield Farms in Whatcom County grows over 1,000 acres of raspberries and blueberries, and after an intensive raspberry harvest, crews cultivate the soil and carefully prune plants to prepare them for the next season. Facing local labor shortages, the farm relies on experienced returning H-2A workers from Mexico to carry out this skilled work. Beyond harvesting, Enfield Farms partners with Northwest Plant Company to research and develop new raspberry varieties focused on yield, flavor, and disease resistance—work that takes years of testing before reaching consumers.
